What a V-bunker truck is

A V-bunker is a closed tanker for dry bulk cement. The tank is shaped so the cement flows down to the outlets, and on site compressed air pushes it through a hose into your silo. The cement stays dry and clean all the way.

When your site needs a silo

  • You run a batching plant or a precast yard
  • You pour large volumes on a steady schedule
  • You want to avoid packaging cost, packaging waste and manual handling

Without a silo, jumbo bags (1 t or 2 t) are the simpler choice.

Planning a bulk delivery

  • Silo space: enough free capacity for a full truck of about 25 t
  • Access: firm ground and turning room for a heavy tanker
  • Discharge: agree in advance which equipment will blow the cement into the silo
